Sub-Contractors

We will help you comply with MTD and provide the software to help your business.

We have done a series of videos specifically aimed at subcontractors who are going to be affected more than most when MTD comes in as they will for the first time have to do bookkeeping in order to do their quarterly reporting.

If you are a sub-contractor with sales of over £50,000 then from April 2026 you will need to do bookkeeping as part of the new Making Tax Digital initiative. If your turnover is less than £50,000 but more than £30,000 then you will need to comply with Making Tax Digital from April 2027.

This will involve extra time doing bookkeeping which you hitherto have not had to do, and extra costs in paying for software to enable you to do it and make the quarterly reports.  At DEB we have the perfect answer to your problem with our Debonair software that is free to DEB Clients and is so simple to use.  We also have a special offer for subcontractors.
